The rendezvous which marked the biggest annual open house event in the division, are jointly hosted by the member of parliament for Bintulu, Dato’Seri Tiong King Sing JP and Senator Pau Chiong Ung. 

The organizing chairman Yong Chong Hua urged people from all walks of lives, as well as NGOs, community leaders, societies, leaders or members from all component parties,  government departments to jointly to greet each other in the coming occasion.

As the tradition of this annual event which has been held since 2000, Tiong King Sing with Pau Chiong Ung would greet all the respectful guests from 8am to 2pm.

In between, tradition performance of lions troupe, entertainment show with festive atmosphere will welcome all guests along the day. 

Yong who is also the branch chairman of Medan Jaya branch said the event also marks the grand greeting with best wishes from all the three party divisions in Bintulu, namely, Kidurong, Kemena and Jepak for the Chinese New Year which spirit of re-union, unity and harmony are highlighted.
