Tiong Lambasted Nansian, Marsing, urges not to name the merger move for
the sake of Sarawakian

The Treasurer
Genereal of Sarawak Progressive Democratic Party (SPDP) Dato’ Seri Tiong
King Sing urged both the President of Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) Datauk
James Jemut Marsing and Datuk Peter Nansian, leaders of the so called
dissenting group of the party to stop the Duke Stroll Show by naming the
immediate merger was for the sake of both parties and Sarawakian.

Marsing claimed that he would not intervene in the SPDP party affairs,
he shall look what he is doing now!”
As
Nansian described Datuk Seri Mawan, Datuk Nyarok as their good party leaders
but strongly control by “certain personality” in the party, the group shall
ask is it ethical to by-passing them for the merger discussion which aimed
to oust their leadership?

Judat did not aware phone conversation shifted to hand-free mode

The State
Assemblyman for Meluan Wong Judat disclosed that he did not aware of phone
conversation had been shifted to hand-free mode by the dissenting group
of Sarawak Progressive Democratic Party (SPDP), labeling him as one of
the party leader to support the move.

He was
questioned by members of press here while seemed to join the Chinese New
Year visiting program with leaders of SPDP at Bintulu here.
Wong
said he was shocked to learn the fact following the next day publicity
in local dailies.

Tiong Challenges Tike Lafe to open the Minutes of Supreme Council Meeting

Referring
to the statement by the Vice Chairman of SPDP Datuk Tike Lafe, a member
of Group of Eights ushering merging agenda with PRS openly, Treasurer General
of the party Dato’ Seri Tiong King Sing challenged Tike to open the minute
and attendant list of Supreme Council meeting.

If Tike
refused to believe who in fact strongly against the merging, he was most
welcome to take the challenge and be it made known to the party members,
rakyat of Mas Gading to see who is telling lies” said Tiong.

While
question by Tike that he was even not a member of Merging Committee led
by Datuk Peter Nyarok, Tiong explained that why attendant list of Supreme
Council become crucial and aforesaid matter had been reported a few time
by the committee to the council.

Tiong Urges the Group of Eight to immediate stop the "rush merger"

BINTULU:
Treasurer General of Sarawak Progressive Dmocratic Party (SPDP) Dato Seri
Tiong King Sing urged the group calling for an "immediate merger" with
Party Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) should immediately stop to mislead the party
members and grassroots.

He was
commented on the present party squabble whereby a group of eight led by
the party’s senior vice-president Datuk Peter Nansian Ngusie, vice president
Datuk Sylvester Entrie (former secretary general of SPDP) with six others
threaten to immediately merge with PRS.
In
fact, Tiong revealed the issue of merging with PRS had been deliberated
by the Supreme Council some times ago and a committee comprising of 5 persons
led by party Deputy President Datuk Peter Nyarok was formed then.

30,000 people greeting the MP and Senator a happy and prosperous Chinese

BINTULU:
Thousands of people from all walks of life turned up for the Chinese New
Year open house at Bintulu Civic Centre here yesterday.
-
The people
started coming in as early as 8am and the civic centre was continuously
packed with people until 12.30pm.
-
Hosted
by Bintulu MP Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing and Senator Pau Chiong Ung, the
CNY open house was graced by Head of State Tun Datuk Patinggi Abang Muhammad
Salahuddin and wife Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Norkiah.
