| BINTULU:
The State Assemblyman for Meluan Wong Judat disclosed that he did not aware
of phone conversation had been shifted to hand-free mode by the dissenting
group of Sarawak Progressive Democratic Party (SPDP), labeling him as one
of the party leader to support the move.
He was questioned by members of press here while seemed to join the Chinese New Year visiting program with leaders of SPDP at Bintulu here. Wong said he was shocked to learn the fact following the next day publicity in local dailies. “Definitely I am agreed with the proposal of merger if it is blessed by majority of party members, with condition that it is for the betterment of present party to serve the people” However, if the mutual terms and references of the merger proposal had not derived, Wong stressed that the proposed merger would be nothing but just a simple talk. He said everyone knew that a happy merger would not achieved if without the blessings from majority members of both parties, adding that it would not be a success if merely by a minority or certain leaders agreement only. For the merger proposal which had been talked for the past 4 years, he said certain group of leaders definitely would stir it up as issue if they feel unhappy with the present leadership. “It is common nationwide, it also happen everywhere in the world” He was laughing off when asked to clarify his stance by replying “Look where I am now!” |
