| BINTULU: The Sarawak Progressive Democratic Party (SPDP) State Women
Wing is currently carrying out a Health Awareness Campaign in Kuching and
major towns in the State from March 1 this year to April 30.
In a statement released on Wednesday, the wing stated that they would be collaborating with Pathlab (M) Sdn Bhd in the campaign where the company had agreed to conduct blood and urine tests at affordable prices. Two special health screening packages would be featuredin the campaign where Package A would be at RM35 comprising eights tests that include screenings for diabetes, gout, kidney and coronary heart profile tests, while Package B at RM99 composed of 40 tests involving general health screening profile. Through this project, the Women's Wing hoped to create and enhance health awareness among the public in line with the Health Ministry's call for healthy living among Malaysians. The campaign would be conducted in stages in different places, starting with Bintulu from March 1 to April 30, Sibu (Mar 15 to Apr 30), Miri (Apr 1 to Apr 30) and Kuching (Apr 1 to Apr 30).
