| BINTULU: Sarawak Progressive Democratic Party (SPDP) Kidurong Division
here has donated RM3,000 to a seven-year-old speech impaired boy on Sunday
to enable him to undergo therapy conducted by a specialist in Kuching.
The amount was handed over to the boy, Thomas Lee, by the divisional
chairman Thomas Ng in a ceremony held at the SPDP Bintulu service centre,
witnessed by the division office-bearers.
The plight of Lee came to the division's attention who had learnt that
he had suffered from speech impairment since at a younger age.
The fourth child in the family of five, Lee's father had been suffering
from stroke since 1996 and had been divorced with his wife. |
