Caption: Suit Against Tiong of Contraversial TV3 Station Struck Out by Miri High Court. 

Miri High Court Judge Datuk Sulaiman Daud struck out a statement of claim against Tiong that was initiated by construction firm Eastern Park Sdn Bhd. 

Eastern Park had, last year, sued TV3, SNAP’s treasurer-general and Tiong for alleged non-payment of work done on the proposed transmission station for the television network, which was supposed to be constructed near Bintulu. 

The case involved more than RM800,000 spent by the firm, which was the contractor for the proposed project. 

No date has yet been fixed for the rest of the suit to be heard.
