Bintulu, Sarawak: The member of Parliament for P190 Bintulu, Dato' Seri Tiong King Sing clarified today that he had nothing related to a independent canditate Jeffrey Nuing's stance in N48 Plagus against the BN candidate Larry Sng.

Tiong was responding to a letter of Dato' Sng Chee Hua, incumbent for N48 Plagus dated on 17, September 2001 requesting him to verify the matter.

According to Sng, he was understood that Jeffrey was associated with Tiong as a friend or in business or as a director of one of the Tiong's company. 

Jefferey, Sng said was also known as a member or supporter of Sarawak National Party.

Infact, Tiong said he had earlier approached Jeffrey after being informed that Jeffrey would like to stand as independent canditate. 

Later, Tiong said he had tried his best persuading Jeffrey not to go against BN but disappointed to learn Jeffrey insisted to go on individual basic as Independent candidate.

Hence, he called on the people in the N48 Plagus constituency to rally behind Larry Sng to ensure the victory of BN.

Also, he disclosed that Jeffrey infact had resigned from his previous post as one of the company director somewhere in the end of August last month.

Tiong said after his investigation, Jeffrey was not a member of SNAP too...END.
