| Bintulu, Sunday: A 23-year-old
youth allegedly attacked by a group of people was rushed to
the hospital for treatment of severe injuries this afternoon at 5:14.
Sources, the incident occured about 4:30 along roadside near Sebatang squatter area, KM11 off Bintulu town here. Prior to the incident, the victim was having a drinking session with a group of friends at Bintulu town here, adding that sharp objects were believed to have been used in the assault. After the drinking session, the victim was them sent by by his friend to Sebatang area but he was seen attacking by a group of people later. After the incident, the victim fall down unconsciously in a pool of blood along roadside. Panicked with fear, the residents of the squatter soon called Bintulu Hospital for ambulance service. After the medical treatment, the victim who had regained consciousness also refused to reveal the identities of the attackers to the police...END WITH PICTURE. |
