Accompanied by officer-in-charge of SNAP Service Centre, Mr Teo Ho Ping and members of the party's welfare sub-committee, he went to visit the flood victims at the wooden houses at KM 10 Bintulu-Sibu Road and near Taman Desa Damai this afternoon.

The wooden houses along the Sg. Sebiew at KM10, Bintulu-Sibu Road were mostly half submerged in water due to high tide and heavy downpours on December 23. The inhabitants at this area have evacuated their houses since then and only a few workers of the Chinese families stayed back to take care of the houses.

At Taman Desa Damai, some low laying houses were affected by the flood.
