| BINTULU, Sun.-Member of Parliament for Bintulu, Dato' Tiong King Sing will meet with officers from the Bintulu Division Disaster Relief Committee tomorrow to understand the flood situation in the whole division and the contingency plan for the flood victims. He said that several areas in upriver Sebauh and Tatau were said to be affected by flood last night, but he has not obtained the real situation. However, Tiong said that the welfare sub-committee of Bintulu SNAP has been activated and they have been helping residents in the flash flood areas here. "They are also on stand by to work together with the officers from the Fire and Rescue Unit here at any time", he said this when interviewed by reporters at the airport here this morning. He will also inspect the new Bintulu Hospital tomorrow to understand new equipment testing and its operational.
