Tiong concerns with safety of commercial aircrafts |

| Bintulu:
The member of Parliament for Bintulu Dato’ Seri Tiong King Sing had raised
his concerns in parliament sitting lately over the safety of commercial
airplanes flying in Sarawak.
In reply, Transport Minister Datuk Ong Tee Kiat assured such strict requirements from the Department of Civil Aviation and the Transport Department. He said the Department of Civil Aviation would give out certificates to airline companies on safe flying to ensure such regularity. "Therefore, all aircraft must be well maintained in accordance with the requirements of the Department of Civil Aviation "They need also to report all incidents to the department, including those relating to the customer service." |
