Bintulu: The Member of Parliament for Bintulu Dato’ Seri Tiong King Sing commenced  his gawai visit today at Niah-Suai areas.

Among the long houses that he visited are Rh. Boniface Bada (29 doors), Rh. Ngadan Anak Pengabang (26 doors), Senior Administration officer of Niah Distrct Office Sebestian Itapak Mesang, SPDP Niah leader Andrew Abak,  Chairman of SPDP Bekenu Sebastian Janting, SPDP Niah Service Centre Clerk Magdeline Sumis,  Rh. Muyang Anak Wat (42 doors), Rh. Ambau (44 doors). 

During the visit, the chairman of Barisan Nasional Back Benchers Club also listened to numerous requests, complaints from the local residents mainly concerned with the basic infra-structures. 

Meanwhile, Rh. Boniface Bada receiving RM 4000 allocation for its longhouse curtain whereby longhouse committee of Rh. Ngadan also granted RM15,000 to carry out necessary repairing works for the longhouse. 

The Rh. Amabu resident also complained of suspended pipe installing project started somewhere in 2005 but failed to deliver until now. 

Accompanied by the DUN member of Bekenu, YB Rosey Binti Haji Yunus, Tiong also assured the resident that he would further pursue the matter via federal channel.

RM 30,000 also allocated for water tank facilities as emergency measure, after Tiong learning that longhouse resident had been suffering from lack of clean water sources, adding that nearby river had been polluted by the estate activities.
