BINTULU, Feb 24 (Bernama) -- All the six parliamentary seats in northern Sarawak will see Barisan Nasional candidates facing straight fights in the March 8 general election.

For Bintulu, BN incumbent Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing, who is the Sarawak Progressive Democratic Party (SPDP) treasurer-general, will be facing DAP newcomer Lim Su Kien while BN new face Ahmad Lai Bujang from Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) will square off with Parti Keadilan Rakyat's (PKR) Dr Michael Teo Yu Kang in Sibuti.

BN incumbent for Miri, Datuk Peter Chin Fah Kui of Sarawak United People's Party, will be defending the seat against DAP's Fong Pau Teck while in Baram, SPDP vice-president Datuk Jacob Dungau Sagan is meeting independent candidate Kebing Wan.

Another newcomer, BN's Hasbi Habibollah from PBB, will be challenged by PKR's Dr Lau Liap Koi for the new seat of Limbang.

In Lawas, BN-PBB's Henry Sum Agong will face PKR''s Japar Suyut.-- BERNAMA
