Tiong was accompanied by an entourage of members of Sarawak Progressive Democratic Party (SPDP) in Bintulu and staff of his Service Centre as well as Member of Parliament of Batu Kawan, Pulau Pinang, Huan Cheng Guan,

Tiong first called on the chairman of Parti Rakyat Sarawak(PRS) Bintulu Division, Majang Renggi at the latter’s residence in Taman Li Hua.

Among others whom Tiong extended his festive greetings were Lance Corporal Gerunsin anak Chabak and Tan Ah Kee whose wife was celebrating the festival at their home in RPR Sebiew.

Tiong later visited Nalong anak Nika before calling on protem chairman of Bintulu Press Club Michael Wong who was recuperating from minor stroke at the latter residence in Taman Lucky Tower.
